What AIRMAN® Air Compressor Models Are Available and What Are Their Specifications?

View model options, airflow and pressure ratings, and typical applications for AIRMAN® portable air compressors.

1. Compressor Model Overview

AIRMAN® mobile air compressors are tow-behind, diesel-powered units built for demanding construction, industrial, and seasonal applications.
They feature direct-drive technology, Tier 4 Final engines, low noise levels, and efficient fuel use. Models range from 100 to 400 CFM, with both single- and dual-pressure options

Model CFM Pressure (PSI) Engine Fuel Use (Full Load) Weight (Operating) Sound (dBA)

2. Key Features

All AIRMAN® compressors are built for ease of operation and service:

  • Direct drive compressors for efficient power transfer and fewer moving parts

  • Powder-coated steel construction, stainless steel hardware, and watertight door seals

  • Large gullwing doors and external fluid drains for safe, curbside servicing

  • E2 Airflow Technology with ECO and AUTO ECO modes to reduce fuel consumption and noise during low-demand operation

  • Tier 4 Final CARB-compliant diesel engines with DEF aftertreatment

  • 110% fluid containment on select models

3. Common Applications

  • PDS185 Series:

    • Most popular for irrigation blowouts, small pneumatic tools, and contractor seasonal work.

    • Available in tow-behind or utility mount versions.

  • PDSG310, PDSF375, PDS400:

    • Mid- to high-volume compressors designed for multiple tool setups, sandblasting, or industrial applications where sustained airflow is required.

    • Dual-pressure models allow flexibility between low and high pressure for different job requirements.

4. Compatibility Guidelines

AIRMAN® air compressors are standalone units and can be used on job sites powered by:

  • AIRMAN® generators

  • EBOSS® hybrid systems (indirectly, for site power)

  • Utility power (if present)

They do not integrate directly with EBOSS controls, but can operate alongside hybrid generator setups.

Before choosing a model, verify:

  • Required CFM and PSI for tools or systems

  • Hose sizes and fittings match site setup

  • Adequate diesel supply and safe towing/placement area
