How Do I Export And Import Files On A ComAp IntelGen 500 Controller?
A simple overview of exporting and importing configuration files using a USB stick or a laptop with InteliConfig.
The ComAp IntelGen 500 controller allows users to transfer configuration files either through a USB stick or a laptop using the InteliConfig software. To export files with a USB stick, plug the USB into the port on the back of the controller. The screen will display an option to export the archive. Select Export Archive and wait for the process to finish. The controller will notify you if the export was successful. Files can then be saved to your computer or emailed to ANA Support for troubleshooting.
To export using a laptop, connect a USB Type A to Type B cable between your computer and the controller. Open InteliConfig, select Connect to Controller, and choose Serial Link. Once connected, you can save the file by selecting Save Clone from the Tools menu.
Importing works the same way. With a USB stick, plug in your device and choose Import Package. Only. pcg3 files generated through InteliConfig can be uploaded, and importing always requires the Administrator Level 3 password. After entering the password, select the file and follow the on-screen prompts.
If importing with a laptop, use InteliConfig to open an offline archive or create a new configuration, then use either Write Clone or Configuration Import. Enter the administrator password when prompted, and the controller will reboot automatically once the import is complete.
